Homecoming 2024 Headquarters is at the Park Inn Hotel Harrisburg West, 5401 Carlisle Pike (Route 11), Mechanicsburg. The group rate for Homecoming 2024 is per night and the group rate cutoff date is .

The rate is subject to PA sales 6%) and occupancy (3%) taxes per room per night and subject to change without notice. It also includes Complimentary Hot Breakfast Buffet. Number of rooms in our blocking is 10 for Oct. 19, 25 each for Oct. 20 & 21 and 5 for Oct. 22.

To make your hotel reservations call the hotel directly at 717-697-0321. You can not make a reservation under the group rate via the Internet; you must call the hotel directly. In order to receive our group rate, tell the reservation clerk that you are with Carson Long Alumni.

For Pet Owners: Any guest staying with their pet must present a valid credit card at check-in. A pet fee will be processed at a rate of $50.00 per stay. An additional $75,00 cleaning fee will be assessed if any carpet damage is found upon inspection by housekeeping staff.
Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the guests rooms. Please be considerate of other guests and keep your pet on a leash both in and outside of the hotel. Only police dogs and therapy dogs (assisting the disabled) are allowed in public areas such as the pool or breakfast area. Please be mindful of your cats litter box and keeping the litter off of the carpet.

Saturday Evening Banquet: $46 Capped at 72 seats

Alumni Golf: If you are interested in playing golf on Friday, call Glenn Lockwood '70 at 772-631-9483. He's planning to get a round in and would welcome any additional players.

Name Badges: If you plan to be on campus Saturday, and aren’t attending any of the paid events, we would still like to prepare a name badge and souvenir Homecoming lanyard for you. Just let us know via email to Treasurer@CarsonLongAlumni.org or the Registration Form or through Jairee Counterman. (There is no fee for this.)

Cancellation Policy & Refund Policy: Because we need to accurately pre-plan these events, we have cancellation and policies:

1.  All cancellations must be made via direct contact (email or telephone) with the Treasurer. You must receive a response for the cancellation to be accepted. For your part, “I’ll let you know.” Or “Maybe...” or “We might not be there.” are not cancellations. You are or you aren’t going to be with us for the weekend.

2.  Deadline for cancellations is October 15. Any cancellations received after that, or no-shows, will not receive refunds unless there is a bona fide emergency of some kind. The weather in New Bloomfield is not an emergency. It is autumn in the Pennsylvania hills so it might rain and it might be chilly. There might even be a trace of snow. Please plan accordingly. Bring an umbrella and appropriate clothing just in case. We will not issue refunds because of the weather.

3.  Refunds must be requested before November 1.

4.  If you pay via PayPal, we pay a fee for that transaction and it will be deducted from your refund.

Registration Fee:  Each attendee to any paid event will pay the $5 registration fee. This covers the cost of all registration materials and supplies necessary to provide you with a quality Homecoming weekend. Guest(s) are subject to the Registration Fee as well.
